Collection: Aged & Fermented Puerh Tea

Deep. Earthy. Time-Honored.

Pu-erh is tea transformed by time. Sourced from ancient tea trees in Yunnan, China, these leaves are either naturally aged over years (raw/sheng) or gently fermented to develop richness more quickly (ripe/shou). At Tea & Hammock, we curate pu-erh that feels grounding—slow, steady, and deeply satisfying.

Expect layers of flavor that evolve with every sip: damp forest floor, dark cacao, smooth leather, sweet hay, and a clean, lingering finish. Aged and fermented pu-erh is known for being easy on the stomach, naturally low in bitterness, and deeply comforting—perfect for moments when you want to feel rooted and restored.

This is tea for slowing down. For quiet mornings. For long conversations. For evenings when you want something warm, steady, and real.

Why You’ll Love Pu-erh

  • Naturally aged or fermented for depth and smoothness
  • Earthy, rich, and never sharp
  • Gentle on digestion and satisfying after meals
  • Can be re-steeped many times, evolving with each brew

Brew to Reclaim a Moment

Use hot water (205–212°F), about 1–2 teaspoons per cup. Rinse the leaves quickly, then steep 30–60 seconds for the first infusion. Re-steep multiple times, adding time with each round.

Aged and fermented pu-erh isn’t rushed. It’s a reminder that some of the best things in life are shaped slowly—by patience, by care, and by time.
