Origin & Characteristics

110 Chai is what happens when we take our classic Travelers Chai and admit that 90 degrees really isn't that hot by Arizona standards.

Inspired by traditional Indian masala chai, Travelers Chai combines bold black tea with whole warming spices. For 110, we add a more generous amount of chili, creating a chai with unmistakable heat while keeping the tea and spices at the center of the cup.

This isn't a novelty "how hot can you handle it?" tea. Its spicy chai made to actually drink and enjoy.

Flavor Profile

Bold - rich - warming - aromatic - spicy - chili finish

Black tea gives the blend its body, while cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, clove and other whole spices create the familiar warmth of masala chai. Then the chili builds.

You'll know it's there

Heat Level: 🌶️🌶️ Hot, but 100% drinkable

Ingredients
100% organic black tea, 100% organic cinnamon, 100% organic fennel seed, 100% organic ginger, 100% organic anise, 100% organic cardamom, 100% organic cloves, 100% organic black peppercorns, Chili.

Health Benefits*
This chai blend offers a powerhouse of antioxidants and wellness-supporting ingredients. Black tea promotes heart, gut, and immune health while reducing stress. Cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel, and black peppercorns all provide anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and blood sugar–balancing properties. Ginger and anise support digestion and immunity, while fennel and cardamom enhance respiratory and hormonal balance. Together, these spices aid circulation, boost focus and energy, and promote overall well-being. Chili peppers also naturally contain capsaicin, the compound responsible for their characteristic heat.

Preparation of 110 Chai:

In a pot, bring water to just to the boil, reduce to simmer, add tea, approximately one teaspoon of the tea in about 8 ounces of water, and simmer for around 3 - 4 minutes.

Add milk in a ratio of about 1/4 milk (of choice) to 3/4 water and simmer for an additional two minutes. Strain the mixture to remove the tea leaves before adding any sweeteners according to personal preference.

Tea & Hammock Tip

110 makes an incredible iced chai latte. Brew it strong, pour over plenty of ice and finish with your favorite milk. The creamy, cold chai against the chili heat is where the blend really shines.

Want more heat, let it simmer longer.

And if you're deciding between the two: 90 Degree give you a kick. 110 lets you know it's there.
