Honeybush Loose Leaf Herbal Tea
Origin and Characteristics
Honeybush is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from shrubs in the Cyclopia genus, which are native to the coastal and mountainous regions of South Africa. Closely related to rooibos, honeybush has been enjoyed for generations and is named for the sweet, honey-like aroma of its yellow flowers.
The stems, leaves, and flowers are harvested and traditionally oxidized, giving the tea its characteristic amber color and naturally sweet flavor.
